Why Get Involved?

This unique cross-disciplinary and cross-disability gathering draws over 200 participants at each event, including representatives of universities, local governments, state governments, funding agencies, federal agencies, non-profit and advocacy groups. Your organization will be featured in our program, on our website, on banners, and during opening and closing remarks. It reaches hundreds of innovative thinkers and brands your organization as a forward-thinking advocate of inclusion for all people with disabilities.

What Do We Need to Further Our Mission?

To continue building a stronger and more inclusive research and educational community for people with disabilities, we need additional resources to take our vision and make it a reality. Our biggest priority is to ensure the summit is affordable and accessible for all. This summit must not be just about disability but a platform for collaboration for people with disabilities. We aim to fund the summit fully so those with disabilities can participate without financial burden. The event costs, including accessible web platforms, recording and captioning for moderated conference and networking sessions, interpreters, and digital support for d/Deaf, hard of hearing, and blind or low vision attendees, is about $50,000.
